Getting started
From installing the app to a file of unique, single-use codes you can send to customers, in about five minutes.
Install the app
- Install DiscountFix from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions.
- Open it from Apps › DiscountFix in your Shopify admin. Opening it once connects your store, which background tasks and Shopify Flow need.
- You start on the Free plan: 250 codes a month, every feature except Stats. You can upgrade any time.
Permissions the app asks for

Your first set
Example: 100 unique codes for 10% off, each usable once, valid for 30 days.
- Go to Discount Codes and click Create new discount set.
- General Settings: set Title to Newsletter 10%. Keep Create random discount codes. Set Number of codes to generate to 100 and Code length to 8. Under Advanced Settings, type
NEWS-as the prefix. - Discount Types: keep Percentage. In Discount Value, enter 10.
- Applies to: keep All products, or pick collections.
- Maximum discount uses: keep both boxes ticked with Total uses = 1, so every code works once.
- Active dates: tick Set end date and pick a date 30 days ahead.
- Check the Summary card on the right: it shows an example like
NEWS-7KQ2MX4B. Click Save at the top. - You're back on the list. The set shows Running with a progress bar, then Completed, usually within a minute.
